Meet the TARA Keeper Utility Golf Cart

TARA introduces the Keeper, a two-seater electric golf cart developed for the practical demands of golf course work. It combines seating for two with a rear cargo box, giving course teams a dedicated vehicle for moving staff, tools, and supplies around the property.

From routine groundskeeping to supply runs between course facilities, the TARA Keeper supports everyday tasks that require both passenger space and carrying capacity. Its electric powertrain, driver-focused controls, and purpose-built cargo area bring the main elements of a golf course utility cart together in one vehicle.

A Practical Cart for Course Teams

Golf course maintenance involves frequent trips between work areas, storage facilities, and course infrastructure. Staff may need to carry tools and supplies while traveling across the property. The Keeper’s two-passenger layout allows two team members to travel together, while the rear cargo box provides a dedicated area for work materials.

The vehicle measures 2,620 × 1,220 × 1,940 mm, with a 1,645 mm wheelbase. Its minimum turning radius is 2.8 m, a useful specification for course paths and maintenance areas where turning space can be limited.

Cargo Space for Daily Work

The Keeper’s rear cargo box measures 770 × 1,100 × 275 mm. It provides space for carrying tools, equipment, and supplies needed for course maintenance and material transport. Two red quick-release latches allow the cargo box to be opened quickly for loading and unloading.

This layout gives the Keeper a clear role in golf course operations. Teams can carry materials to a work area with two staff members on board, then continue to the next task without arranging a separate transport vehicle for every trip.

Clear Information While Driving

The 5-inch information screen is integrated into the steering column, keeping key vehicle information in the driver’s view. It displays speed, battery state of charge, trip distance, and odometer readings. The adjustable steering column lets the driver set a comfortable steering position.

Control switches are integrated into the dashboard, along with a USB charging port. Multiple storage compartments provide room for everyday items, and cup holders keep drinks close at hand. The glove box includes a golf ball and tee holder, while a separate storage compartment is integrated into the roof.

Comfort for Two

The TARA Keeper features soft, cushioned seats with a contoured shape for comfortable, supportive seating. The all-climate seat design suits use across changing outdoor conditions.

LED lighting is included for visibility during operation in changing light conditions. These features support routine travel around the course, including early starts and late finishes when teams are moving between work locations.

Electric Power and Handling

The Keeper uses a 48 V system with a 6.3 kW motor equipped with an electromagnetic brake. A 400 A AC controller manages the electric drive, and the listed top speed is 30 km/h. The vehicle’s maximum gradability at full load is 25%.

A 25 A charger is included, with a listed charging time of three to five hours. Actual charging time may vary depending on operating and charging conditions.

Suspension and Tires

The front suspension uses an independent double-wishbone design, while the rear suspension uses leaf springs. The specification sheet lists a braking distance of 3 m or less. The Keeper is equipped with 12-inch aluminum wheels and 205/50R12 tires.
